At Montage, the magic begins with a reading of the Christmas classic 'Twas The Night Before Christmas, followed by a twilight search in the sky for Santa's sleigh complete with cookies, hot cocoa and egg nog for all. Want another outlet to express your inner artist? Head over to our new wave lawn party, where every Saturday from 12-2 p.m. you can make personal tie-dye masterpieces. Palate: The Right Rub

Made with any combination of dry herbs, spices, sugar and salt, spice rubs are extremely user-friendly for cooking meat, poultry or fish. Always an innovator, Chef John Cuevas uses a coffee rub to make his signature Dry Aged Coffee-Crusted New York Strip Steak, a favorite on the inventive American menu at The Loft. Chef Cuevas says that rubs are an easy alternative to marinades and take less time to infuse flavors. He also uses his special rubs for Cajun-Crusted Pacific Halibut and Blackened Veal Porterhouse.
